My prior Greek experiences were disappointing. Those experiences changed me. Life is all about lessons and it taught me to move with discernment and how important it is to protect your energy. I heard great things about the Medusa's and was invited by someone who has a beautiful soul. I truly believe it is possible for women to connect and build a genuine sisterhood. I want real people in my life and to be surrounded by women that have the same interest as me. My standards are high and the Medusa's are top tier. I really love my choice and I am looking forward to this beautiful journey with my amazing sisters.

To make a long story short, I decided to cut off the messy and miserable of Secondlife and sit at the table with the movers and shakers. Women who actually want to stand for something, make an impact on the grid, be different, and be influential. Alpha Tau Xi peaked my interest from the time I discovered the sorority from the pretty colors to the beautiful mascot. I was really intrigued from the yacht meet and greet where I got to know the Founders and more about what the sorority stands upon. I'm more than excited to see where the journey of being a Medusa takes me. I'm comfortable, I can be myself, and I feel like I finally found my people. Strong-minded, bright personality having, beautiful women that I am VERY proud to call my sisters. Not to mention they all speak their minds, very outspoken, very truthful and I'm all about keeping 1hunnit, hell I should've named myself Big Sister Backwoodz, because I'm blunt in any situation.

After years of being alone on my plat, I decided I wanted to branch out and meet new people. I thought Greek life would be a great way for me to obtain the camaraderie and sisterhood I was longing for. Once I saw the way some organizations operate behind the scenes, I was ready to head back to my solitude. But being the optimist I am, I just couldn’t accept that groups of people fostering drama, negativity, and deceit were all secondlife had to offer. I knew there had to be an organization out there that truly embodied sisterhood and upheld the mission and purpose they claimed to have. Then I found Alpha Tau Xi, the original medusas. From the moment I met the women in this organization, I knew this would be my home. The love, support, and authenticity they exude when interacting with each other is truly beautiful and I could not pass up an opportunity to be a part of it. Not only is their bond amazing, but their values as an organization perfectly match mine as an individual. On secondlife, you may meet a handful of pure-intentioned, genuine souls and I was blessed enough to meet 21. I am so excited to see where this journey takes my sisters and I. I'm ecstatic to be a member of Alpha Tau Xi Beta Line! While I may come across as shy and reclusive, I've recently been pushing myself to put myself out there and get involved in something greater than myself. It's been a challenge, but I'm proud of myself for finally stepping out of my comfort zone. When I'm not hanging out with my sisters or roleplaying, you can usually find me at home, indulging in my love for decorating. I find it to be a calming and creative outlet. There's nothing quite like transforming a space into something beautiful and cozy. While I may be an introvert, that doesn't mean I'm a pushover. I don't take anyone's crap and I stand up for what I believe in. I may be quiet at times but definitely not afraid to speak my mind when necessary. I'm excited to continue to grow and challenge myself as a member of Alpha Tau Xi.

I've never really been in a sorority, but I have went through the pledge process for one. The difference between that one and this one is I've felt included and valued throughout the entire process! I'm a very anisocial person that comes from a family FULL of creatives. I felt as if I was the only one with no friends, connections, or skill. I decided to venture out and try the Soro thing one more time and I'm so glad I did. I've met sooo many creative people that I'm proud to call my sisters. We're all there for eachother no matter what, even when we notice a difference in someone's vibe we reach out and make sure everything's okay. This is a forever sisterhood and you can feel it when everyone is in the room together. No one is spiteful, no one is jealous, no one is petty. I know they say a room full of women is bound to be messy, but when the room is full of Medusas please believe its only bonding and love going on. You can feel the sisterhood when we're together and that's exactly what I was looking for. My home is with the Medusas!

I been around the grid for years now, loyalty and trust is very big for me. I took a step to do something of out the ordinary for myself and pledged Alpha Tau Xi. My main purpose was to step out of my comfort zone and leave the fear of growing relationships with other women behind me. I am at a point in my big age, where I wanted to erase the mentality of “no new friends”. Instead, sit me at the table with other boss minded individuals. I look forward to seeing my growth with Alpha Tau Xi. Building bonds with my sisters and making an impact within the sorority. ATΞ colors are going to be worn proudly, it’s forever big DUSA.

Jamaica born and raised but Brooklyn made, I’m Nadine but I’m mainly known as Flawed, I’m someone who’s genuine, Kind with a heart of gold. I’ve been told on numerous occasions that everyone or the majority isn’t meant to be in my presence. Im super BIG on family and the type that wants everyone to get along. I’ve done the Greek thing on imvu and I’ve also done it here. Going into this process I thought dang soo many other ladies and the way my mouth/words get me in trouble sometimes because not many are willing to pick sense out of nonsense and look pass your tone at times so I figured shit why not just keep an open mind. I must say I’m absolutely happy I did and given there are times I’ve gotten really frustrated…Not because of my sisters but because of things I couldn’t possibly control. I’ve found my home and what nailed it for me which made me want to see it through…Was the genuineness amongst the ladies, The growth in talking things out with respect for the next, The willingness each sister have displayed when it came to lending a helping hand, And the way we all cared for the next. I’m glad I made the choice to be here and it doesn’t hurt when your sisters are a very rare breed of ladies which is very refreshing on the grid in general.
